POSITION: BUSINESS ANALYST
LOCATION: TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO
REPORTING TO: MANAGER – BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE & BUSINESS ANALYSIS
CONTEXT AND PURPOSE OF THE JOB
RioMed is a leading clinical software company based in the UK. Our core business function is developing and delivering clinical applications. We provide customised solutions to meet the specific requirements of healthcare professionals. Our mission is to improve healthcare at the point of delivery through patient participation and real time data capture.
RioMed has been delivering clinical solutions nationally and internationally since 1997, in a variety of
communicable and non-communicable disease areas including, HIV, Sexually transmitted disease, Osteoporosis, Elderly Care, Rheumatology, Cardiology and Diabetes.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for engaging with clients both locally and regionally to gather and translate their requirements into our clinical software system, Cellma. This role will involve contributing to presales demonstrations, post-sales management, and becoming an expert in all RioMed products.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to create and maintain technical and non-technical product documentation to ensure successful post-sales closure.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Engagement:
- Conduct onsite visits with clients locally and regionally to gather clinical requirements.
- Translate client needs into actionable items for incorporation into our clinical software system,
Cellma. - Assist with change management processes to ensure seamless transitions for clients.
- Deliver necessary approvals for post-sales closure in coordination with project managers and product
specialists. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to monitor and support the adoption of our
clinical software solutions such as Cellma.
Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Support:
Contribute to pre-sales demonstrations by showcasing the functionality and benefits of our company
products.
Manage post-sales activities related to change, ensuring that client requirements are met and issues
are addressed effectively.
Product Expertise:
- Develop in-depth knowledge of all company products and services.
- Stay up-to-date with all product developments and enhancements.
Documentation and Collaboration:
- Create and maintain technical and non-technical documentation for product scoping, User
Acceptance Testing (UAT), and pre-sales workflows. - Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Testing teams to ensure that documentation
and testing align with client requirements. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to monitor and support the adoption of our
clinical software solutions such as Cellma.
ADDITIONAL NOTE

ESSENTIAL
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Quality, Health Services, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and
deadlines effectively. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with
stakeholders at all levels. - Ability to identify issues and propose solutions in a timely manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and contribute to a positive team
environment. - Strong technical acumen with ability to become an expert at RioMed’s healthcare software,
Cellma. - Adaptability and willingness to assist as required. The role requires regular travel for onsite client
visits.
